1. Remove Dust and Dirt: Use a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush to gently wipe off any dust or dirt on the surface.
2. Prepare a Mild Cleaning Solution: Mix a small amount of mild liquid soap (like baby soap or dish soap) with warm water. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
3. Test the Solution: Before cleaning the whole bag, test the cleaning solution on a small, hidden area of the bag to ensure it doesn't discolor or damage the leather.
4. Wipe the Leather: Dampen a clean cloth with the soap solution (don’t soak it), and gently wipe the leather in circular motions. Avoid excessive moisture as it can damage the leather.
5. Rinse and Dry: Use another damp cloth with just water to wipe away any soap residue. Immediately dry the leather with a soft, dry towel.
6. Condition the Leather: Once the bag is fully dry, apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft and prevent it from drying out or cracking. Follow the product instructions and use a soft cloth for application.
7. Let It Air Dry: After conditioning, let the bag air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
8. Storage: When not in use, store the bag in a cool, dry place. Use a dust bag or pillowcase to protect it from dust and moisture.
